Hi, I'm Michael, I'm a bit of a geek, but more importantly, I'm a boudoir photographer from New Jersey. Boudoir is my thing! I shoot many boudoir sessions each year, and the best parts about my job are all the tremendous women I encounter, and how each session is so unique. My sessions range from demure to down-right sexy, and everything in between. The goal behind each boudoir photo shoot is to (1) tell a bit of a story, (2) make sure my clients have a great time, and (3) produce amazing quality shots they can't find anywhere else!
Each boudoir session is a journey, not just for my clients, but for me as well. Although clients often have an idea of what they would like to do during their session, I never really know the ultimate path a photo shoot will take. Once I get started, each session takes on a mini life of its own. One thing is for sure, a boudoir session tells a lot about the style of the client. It’s fascinating to see how their personality and preferences shine through in the images. Couple that with living in New Jersey—which has some long, cold winter months, and you get a situation which creates some unique inspiration for boudoir.
During the cold winter months, it's especially cuddly to bring in the chunky sweaters and do more of a casual boudoir session. There’s something incredibly cozy and intimate about these sessions. It's fun to photograph, and it really does deliver a bit of a different vibe to the photo shoot, which I love. The contrast between the warmth of the sweater and the sensuality of the poses creates a compelling dynamic that’s both inviting and alluring.
